We aim to be fair and practical when resolving return requests. The guidelines below help us manage returns safely while supporting both our commercial and retail customers.
1. Commercial Supply Statement
Many of our products are supplied for commercial and business use. As a result, change-of-mind returns are more limited than standard retail purchases.
All returns must be approved by Waikato Cleaning Supplies Limited before goods are sent back.
2. Change of Mind Returns
Change-of-mind returns are not guaranteed.
Requests must be made within 7 days of receiving the goods and items must be:
- Unused
- In original condition
- In original packaging suitable for resale
Return freight costs are the responsibility of the customer unless agreed otherwise.
Approved returns may be subject to a restocking or handling fee where applicable.
3. Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned unless faulty:
- Custom or indent orders sourced specifically for a customer
- Special-order or non-stocked items
- Opened chemicals, hazardous substances, or dangerous goods
- Pandemic or hygiene-sensitive items
- Machinery or equipment that has been used, installed, or operated
4. Exchanges
Unused and unopened products may be approved for exchange at our discretion.
Any price difference between items must be paid before the exchange is completed.
Local Hamilton customers may be able to arrange swaps through our delivery service where practical. Customers outside the Hamilton area should contact us to discuss suitable options.
5. Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items
If goods arrive damaged, faulty, or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible so we can arrange a replacement, repair, or suitable resolution.
We may request photos or additional information to assist with processing.
Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act where applicable.
6. Refund Method
Where a refund is approved, we aim to process it using the same payment method used for the original purchase.
7. Machinery and Equipment
Machinery returns are assessed on a case-by-case basis and are generally not accepted once equipment has been used or installed unless the product is faulty.
8. Processing Returns
Returned goods will be inspected upon receipt. Waikato Cleaning Supplies Limited reserves the right to decline returns that do not meet the conditions outlined in this policy.
